The Wahana Natural is a coffee that originates from the Sidikalang region in North Sumatra, located west of volcanic Lake Toba. It is produced on the Wahana Estate, a meticulously managed and innovative property. The estate is known for separating and cultivating various coffee varietals, including unique hybrids exclusive to Indonesia. While the majority of the plantation focuses on producing washed coffee and has made significant investments in that process, this particular coffee is dry processed. The Wahana Estate has dedicated 90 hectares of land in the Takengon area for planting this new varietal. The coffee is grown at an elevation of 1300 to 1500 meters, and the entire cultivation area is shaded to promote slower and more natural growth of the trees.
