Grown at 2,000 meters in the lush hills of Totoró, Cauca, Colombia, the coffee from Finca Vista Hermosa showcases the meticulous care of farmer Ciro Antonio Camayo. On his 3-hectare farm—2 of which are dedicated to 8,000 Castillo variety coffee trees—Ciro cultivates beans known for their vibrant, jammy cherry and cacao notes, complemented by mellow cooked stone fruit and burnt sugar. This coffee offers a mild, juicy malic acidity and a clean, fruit-like sweetness that reflects the farm’s high-elevation terroir and careful processing. Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, depulped the same day, fermented dry for 18 hours, triple-washed, and dried in parabolic dryers for consistency and clarity. In partnership with Banexport, Ciro focuses on sustainable farming and technical excellence, yielding a cup often praised for its complex layers of blood orange, tropical fruit, sugar cane, and warm baking spice. Finca Vista Hermosa is a shining example of Colombian specialty coffee—sweet, juicy, and deeply expressive of place.
